After a trip to Aberdeen to get Dad’s new motorcycle, the kids now have a new set of wheels of their own… a kid-sized Ford F-150. Check out the faces!
Alexis’ feet barely reach the pedals so Bill will have to fix that for her. He’s pretty sure he can put a wood block on the pedal to give her that extra reach. Noah’s a ways away from being able to reach so he’ll just ride shotgun for now.
They at least got it down the driveway and then headed for the open road. Good thing our neighborhood is new and doesn’t get much traffic because we still have to teach Alexis how to drive a straight line. She’s still trying to figure out the steering wheel and how to turn a little instead of cranking the wheel all the way to one side.
The truck has a battery-powered radio, working doors and working tailgate. That’s where they store their helmets for when they ride their bikes.
Noah’s content with leaning back, changing the radio stations and letting the wind blow through his hair. Can’t wait to see what he does when we boost the power and the truck goes even faster! That’s going to take some time though.
