Pig Faces, Power Walks, Pool Time & Other Priceless Photos!

She’s going to kill me for these photos… but that’s what mom’s are for!

More photos from our walks to see the cows down the block. Noah’s been upgraded to the back seat without his car seat!IMG_3837 IMG_3840 IMG_3844

It’s taken a little while, but day care has helped Alexis warm up to the concept of swimming, at least in a kiddie pool. Noah took to it right away! He loves crawling around and splashing his big sister!IMG_3851 IMG_3856 IMG_3859

I was very surprised to find them playing together already. I didn’t think Alexis would embrace him as a little person so soon! He’s really getting around now, he taught himself to crawl in a matter of two days. He went from rocking on his knees to making his way across the room. Now he’s found a fascination in looking out the windows and getting into everything… even if that does mean Mom’s purse!

Noah is still having some problems with his skin, it flares every now and then, but we just deal with it as it happens. Alexis gets retested for her allergies next month! We’re looking forward to the results, but having watched her skin still flare also, I’m not anticipating any big changes.

Walking The Bike Trail For CF

We decided to pass up CMN’s Bike and Babes Motorcycle Ride this weekend and do something together as a family for kids. Instead, we hit the bike trails in Sioux Falls for the Cystic Fibrosis Walk.

As part of Team Reese, for my co-worker’s niece, Alexis and I wore team shirts… though hers was a bit big! :o)

IMG_3586 Noah took his place in the back seat of the double stroller and Alexis had hers in the front. We were ready to go!

We got just past the halfway point of the 6.2 Miles (10 k) walk and Punky got a little restless. So we found a park along the way and let her run wild!

So, she didn’t exactly want to leave the park but once on the trail again, she found a way to get comfortable… feet up in the air!
