This is a special post for Uncle Brent from his Goddaughter, Alexis. Brent is overseas and we’re counting down the weeks until he’s home. He may not even have access to a computer at this point, but we can hope!
She got to talk with Uncle Brent on Mom’s real phone this weekend. You see, she likes to use what ever looks like a phone… the remote control…

But she forgot to tell him the good news that the snow is melting and should be gone by the time he gets home… hopefully in time to help her find her Easter basket. But that also means we’ll be putting away her cute winter hat…
which she is very good about not leaving the house without! The snow mounds, though, as they shrink have made our yard one muddy mess and actually filled up more than half of our sump hole. Areas of Sioux Falls around the Big Sioux are flooded… more than I’ve ever seen them!
She’s also taken on a bit of a bad habit of putting her feet on the table while she eats. Don’t know where she gets this stuff!
Naughty or nice… she has her big smiles & kisses waiting for Uncle Brent’s safe return… So she can share a taco with you… one of her new favorite foods!

You have no idea how special Uncle Brent feels to have a blog post dedicated to him! Hopefully he will be home in time to find some Easter Eggs (probably the day of) and of course there's always plenty of time to eat tacos! These last 3 1/2 months have felt like forever and I'll have a lot of catching up to do. I make sure that every time I'm on a computer, I check to see what the Leesch Babies are up to. Only a week and a half left of work(which will seem like a month)and I'll be on my way home. Make sure to tell the Easter Bunny to put some hard liquor in my basket ;-)
