Go Stampede!

We spent our Saturday night supporting our local hockey team, the Sioux Falls Stampede, and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. I have a co-worker whose niece was diagnosed with CF at 10 days old and they coordinated a fundraiser night with the team... a good enough reason for me to get out of the apartment for the night!
So, we put Alexis in pigtails and Noah in some warmer clothes and headed off to the Arena to watch some hockey. We taught Alexis how to say "hockey" on the way there. While she couldn't stop saying it in the car, she clammed up once we got to the game.

She got her first glimpse of the blimp and didn't know exactly what to think.
As long as it didn't come too close, she was okay but was still intrigued. Think the face on the front of the balloon was a bit much for her.
But seeing "Stomp" in person didn't go quite as well as seeing the Disney characters in Florida this past January. She pointed at him from afar, but when we put them together, she just wasn't interested... at all!
Noah hung out in my baby pouch and slept through the WHOLE game. Only got a little cranky as we left.
The team won 5-2 over Omaha. No brawls this night but a decent game otherwise.
And we were able to contribute to the $2,100 raised for CF!
